It’s nice to meet you! I’m Heidi Bunker, MA, LPCC, the founder of Navigating U, LLC and an Independently Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I created Navigating U to help my clients navigate through the obstacles in their lives. I will help you on your journey, pointing out things to notice and suggesting places to go and explore.

My approach to counseling and coaching is best described as open, whole-person, strengths-based, collaborative, and growth-oriented. When we work together, you will get real results.

I meet people where they are and can identify areas of focus that help produce growth and understanding. I both listen and challenge, offering a perspective you may not have considered an option.

You will learn about yourself and unlock change, new possibilities, and new ways of being in the world and in your relationships.

I have over twenty-five years of experience in the mental health field, along with over thirty years in the military. In addition to my professional experience caring for both civilians and other military members, I bring my full self to my role as a coach and a counselor. Here’s what that looks like in our sessions:

I am direct, open, and irreverent with a quick wit, while being thoughtful and caring. If you are looking for someone who encourages your growth by challenging you and offering new perspectives, we’ll be a good fit.

I am a lifelong learner, so you can expect that many of the things I bring to the session are new and relevant. I love reading research, so I can share the newest ways to enhance your life.

Last, but not least, I care about providing my clients with a timely response and clarity about the services I offer.
